Project Launch: Eidos UML Plugin for NetBeans
The Eidos UML project is proud to announce its kickoff!
The Eidos UML project is a side project of the NetBeans UML plugin, and aims to redesign the plugin from scratch, and make better use of modern software engineering practices and the powerful Netbeans platform. Some code from the NetBeans plugin are being reused in Eidos, but the underlying structure of the module will be greatly simplified and improved.
We are moving from the design phase into implementation with the first commits done this week. Of course, we have a long way to go, but we have to start somewhere right?
You can track the progress of the Eidos plugin project in its Bug Tracking System.
We're always looking for more coding hands. If you're interested in helping, please contact us at developer at uml dot netbeans dot org or visit the Eidos UML wiki.
