NetBeans Downloads Available via Mirror Servers Worldwide!
Get ready for faster downloads of the NetBeans IDE! NetBeans downloads are now available via a network of mirror servers around the world--in the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and Japan. When you download the IDE, you will automatically be directed to a mirror in or close to your geographic area. This means faster downloads for everyone, as you'll be downloading from a high-speed site geographically close to you, and load on the primary download server is now distributed across all mirrors.
We would like to offer a very big "Thank You" to the following sites that have provided mirrors for NetBeans:
- The UK Mirror service, the University of Kent Computing, UK;
- The Center for Scientific Computing and Free Software, the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil;
- Indiana University, US;
- Open Source Labs, Oregon State University, US;
- KDDI R&D Labs, Japan;
- TWAREN, Taiwan;
- University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Similar thanks goes out to the sites below where NetBeans should be available soon:
- iBiblio, US;
- Yamagata University, Japan;
- Phillipine e-Science Grid, the Phillipines;
- ISU, Taiwan;
We'll be adding a full list of our mirror sites on the NetBeans acknowledgements page over the next few days.
Want to mirror NetBeans? We are still looking for additional mirror sites! If you own or admin a high-bandwidth site, and would be willing to host the NetBeans bits for download, we'd love your help! Mirrors in any region are welcome, but particularly needed are sites in Australia, China, India, and Russia. Please contact us to discuss details.
